Career Crafter (“we”, “the platform”) helps students explore careers and learning paths. This policy explains what information is handled when you use our static website and optional AI chat.

Data you enter on the site

Account sign-up, profile details, and assessment answers are stored in your browser using localStorage in this demo implementation. That data stays on your device unless you clear site data. It is not sent to our servers for profile storage.

AI career assistant

If the site is hosted on Netlify with the chat function enabled, the messages you send to the assistant are sent to Anthropic as part of generating a reply. Do not paste passwords, government IDs, or other highly sensitive information into the chat.
